The Mágochy Family
 -Gáspár Mágochy-

In 1556, Gáspár Mágochy was made the captain of Gyula castle, in Békés megye. He then retired from this position in 1560 and removed to Torna castle, which is now in ruins. In 1562 he became prisoner of the Turks, which he paid 14,000 forint to be freed. Later, in 1564, he became the captain of Eger castle, in Heves megye, as well as steward of Heves and Külső-Szolnok counties. He resigned from his position at Eger Castle in 1572.

In 1573, Gáspár purchased the Munkács castle and estates for 42,000 forint from King Maximilian. His only son, Ferencz, died before 1580 and his wealth and estates were passed onto his brother András and his children. Gáspár received this coat of arms in a grant, in 1585. His coat of arms went extinct with his death.
