The Mágochy Family
 -Gáspár Mágochy-

Gáspár Mágochy's nephew András inherited all of Gáspár's wealth and properties at the time of his death, including ownership of Munkács castle. Sometime before András's death in 1590, he built the Mágochy-kastély in modern day Pácin, Hungary. András's widow, Judit Bekény de Alagh, then married Baron Zsigmond Rákóczy and he became the guardian of her children Gáspár and Ferencz.

Gáspár died in 1591 and Ferencz (born about 1580) thus became the sole heir to the Mágochy wealth and estates, at the age of 11. During his life, he became steward of Torna and Bereg counties, as well as the head captain of upper Hungary. Ferencz died in Beregszász, Bereg megye in 1611, and was buried in Tállya, Zemplén megye (only 45 minutes north of Tiszadob). Ferencz's widow, Orsolya Dersffy de Szerdahely, went on to marry Baron Miklós Eszterházy de Galántha. A year later, Baron Miklós petitioned for the ownership of Munkács castle and it's estates, and received them through the grant of King Matthias II.

Ferencz received the first coat of arms in 1607 and the second in 1609. His coat of arms, as well as the family name, went extinct with his death in 1611.
