The Gombash Family

The Porkoláb family from Tiszadob began with Márton Porkoláb and his wife Dorottya Baranyai. They had three sons: Mihály, János and Jakab. The family was granted nobility by King Ferdinand II on 9 Feb 1635 in Sopron. It was recorded in Petneháza, Szabolcs megye. In Siebmacher's Wappenbuch, a relative of the family is listed as Róza Porkoláb, married to Pál Megyery, who lived in Debrecen. Róza was a member of the Porkoláb de Nagy-Váth és Mágoch family.  |
