On 13 Mar 1746-1747, Peter Garrison farmer of Entrim [Antrim Township], Lancaster County, Pennsylvania wrote his last will and testament. He bequeathed the following:
"to Sarah my dearly beloved wife, one third part of all my moveables together with the possession of that half of that my buldings are on during her widowhood"
"to my well beloved son David the other half of the place lying eastward of the buildings, or down the creek, next to John Patons to be divided by a cross line running through the middle of the bottom, that lies down the above said creek, together with an iron gray mare and my own saddle"
"to my well beloved son Arther the other half of the place now possessed by my well beloved wife, to be delivered to him at the age of 21 years"
"to my well beloved son James the sum of 30 pounds good and lawful money to be raised and levied out of my estate"
"to my well beloved son John a young iron gray horse to be delivered to him upon demand after my decease"
"to my well beloved son Peter 3 pounds of good and lawful monies to be raised and levied out of my estate and paid to him at the age of 21 years"
"to my well beloved daughter Esther a young roan mare valued to 6 pounds and a saddle valued to 3 pounds together with other necessaries usual to be given to her at the age of 18"
"to my well beloved wife Sarah the sum of 20 pounds good and lawful moneys to be raised and levied out of my estate for the nursing of my two youngest children, James and Phebe"
"the remainder of my estate to be equally divided among my well beloved daughters Susan, Deborah and Phebe"
"I do hereby constitute make and ordain Sarah my well beloved wife together with David Rees of the place above said to be only and sole executors of this my last will and testament"
The will was witnessed by James Flenniker, John Flenniker and William Alexander. They appeared before the court on 22 Oct 1747 to swear an oath and prove the last will and testament.
