Chronological Timeline:
On 17 Jun 1786, the appraisers, creditors and "nighest of kin" certified an inventory of the goods and chattels of Aquilla Chittam of Somerset County, Maryland. The appraisers were Levin Handy and Richard Power, the creditors were Gale Jackson and Samuel McClemmy, and the "nighest of kin" were Walker Chittam and George Chittam. The administrator of the estate, John Chittam, swore oath and proved the inventory in court on 10 Feb 1787.
NOTE: Walker Chittam and George Chittam being listed as the next of kin insinuates they were brothers of Aquilla Chittam. The same is said for John Chittam, administrator of the estate.

The 1790 personal property tax list for Prince George County, Virginia shows "George Cheatham," being taxed on 1 white poll.
NOTE: No Chatham or Cheatham variations appear in the other personal property lists from 1785-1799. Nothing was found in the land tax lists from 1790-1799 in Dinwiddie or Prince George Counties.

On 2 Oct 1792 in Bristol Parish, Dinwiddie County, Virginia, Walker, son of George and Nelly Cheatham, was baptized. It states he was born on 2 Apr 1792, however, it doesn't state where.
NOTE: The only other Chatham or Cheatham to appear in the vestry books of Bristol Parish was another baptism on 7 Nov 1793 (born 15 Feb) for Polly Cheatham Knight, daughter of Josiah Knight and his wife Milly. The 1792 personal property tax list for Prince George County, Virginia shows Joshua [Josiah?] Knight being taxed on 1 white poll and 1 slave over 16 years old (SOURCE: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSKJ-9344-H)
