On 18 Oct 1811 in Christian County, Kentucky, the court oversaw a case involving Benjamin Lacy plaintiff against James M. Johnson defendant. The suit was continued at the defendant's cost until the next term and the defendant "a dedimus is awarded him to [blank] County Tennessee to examine William Costolow a witness for him in this cause."
