Children:

Chronological Timeline:
On 22 Oct 1805 in King William County, Virginia, Pamela Madison, Thomas B. Chamberlayne and his wife Elizabeth sold 1 acre of land to Caroline Custolow for "three pounds current money of Virginia;" all of St. John's Parish. The land was described as being within St. John's Parish of King William County, "beginning at a holley standing on east side of the road that leads over Mrs. Chamberlayne's Mill, thence runing a south east course by a line of marked trees that divids the said land from Byrd Chamberlayne decd. tract of land to an ash standing by the s. of a branch, thence up said branch to a hickory standing near said branch, thence runing a north west course to a pine standing on the side of the road form thence down said road to the Holley where it began." The witnesses to the deed were Daniel Powers, John LIpscomb and Catherine Allmd [?]. On 28 Apr 1806, it was ordered by the court that Mrs. Elizabeth Chamberlayne be examined privately from her husband, Thomas B. Chamberlayne, to acknowledge the deed; she was examined and acknowledged the deed on the same day. The deed was acknowledged by the court on 29 Apr 1806 and was ordered to be recorded.

NOTE: The 1833 list of "free negroes and mulattoes" states Caroline was 47 years old = ~1786. The 1840 census places her birth sometime before 1785 and there is no one in her household aged 36-55, so it must be her. I don't think a 55+ year old woman would've passed for someone under 36. This also likely means that their mother Agnes had since passed away, as she's not present in either of their households anymore.
