Another memorial of a lease dated 8 & 9 Aug 1805 was recorded for Thomas Miller Gentleman of Banagher, which was released onto Joseph Costello, and formerly held by George Whitfield, Elizabeth Chapman, Martin Burnett and Edward Flove? The duration of Joseph Costello's lease was from 1 May 1818 for the natural lives and life of Stephen Costello and Laurence Costello, two sons of the said Joseph Costello, and Mary Costello eldest daughter of the said Joseph Costello. They were to pay the yearly-rent of 16 pounds 8 shillings 3 pence paying half-yearly.

"The said several and respective recited leases and the premises thereby demised became legally vested in the said Stephen Costello."
Another recited deed of lease and release dated 24 & 25 Nov 1816 from Giles Eyre and his eldest son John Eyre Esqrs. both of Eyrecourt in County Galway to Stephen Costello Gentleman of Banagher. NOTE: This is a very large deed, and as you can clearly see, many leases are recorded spanning 40 years. I believe the initial lease for Laurence in 1781 was then transferred to Joseph, after Laurence died in 1790. Every other individual in these leases are either children or grandchildren of Joseph.
