On 16 Apr 1744 in Ireland, a memorial of a deed was recorded between Hyacinth Darcy of Cloonbannan in County Mayo deceased and Thomas Leyster Esqr. The lease was for 300 acres of land within the "lands of Craghwell in the Barony of Longford and County Galway," which began on 1 May 1742 and lasted the duration of 31 years.
James Darcy, brother and administrator of the late Hyacinth Darcy, had since "let over" the 300 acres of land to Thomas Miller and Thomas Thompson, both Gent. of Banagher, and Stephen Costellow, Gent. of Clonfert. The lease was for the same 300 acres of land, which began on 1 May 1744 and lasted the duration of 28 years. The lease was secured with a payment of 50 pounds, with a yearly rent of 85 pounds to be paid half-yearly. The witnesses to the deed were Adam Blumfield, Gent. late of Eyrecourt County Galway but presently of Ardrass County Kildare, and Andrew Walsh yeoman of Longford in County Galway. The deed was proven on 24 Mar 1752 at 3pm by Adam Blumfield.

On 13 Jun 1746 in Ireland, a memorial of a lease was recorded between Reverend Dean Giles Eyre of Eyrecourt in Galway County and Mr. Stephen Costillo of Clonfert in Galway County. The lease was for 156 acres of "arable and pasture" in the lands of Caltragh, "above the Duckcoy and Duckcoymans holding situtate in the Barony of Longford and County of Galway." The lease began on 1 May 1746 and lasted the duration of the lives of the said Stephen Costello, George Moore son of Revd. Arthur Moore, and William Burnett son of Christopher Burnett of Eyrecourt. They were all to pay a yearly rent of "5 shillings per acre during the first life that should happen to decease and 5 shillings and 6 pence per acre during the other two lives, together with 6 pence per pound receivers, sallary payable half yearly above taxes." The deed was witnessed by Revd. John Fulton Clerk of Eyrecourt, William Burnett Gent. of Eyrecourt, and Thomas Milbank of Eyrecourt. The deed was proven in Apr 1753 by William Burnett.

On 19 Apr 1751 in Ireland, a memorial of a lease was recorded between Warner Westenra Esqr. of Lamberton, Queens County, and John Sharp Gent. of Clonbrone, King's County. The lease was for 290 acres of land in "the town & lands of Killivilly situtate lying and being the Barony of Ballybritt and King's County". The lease began on 20 Apr 1751 and lasted the duration of the lives of the said John Sharp, Christopher Sharp son of Jeremiah Sharp of Shinrone in King's County, and Chrisr. Costelo son of Stephen Costelo of Clonfert in Galway County. They were all to pay a yearly rent of 7 shillings per acre. The witnesses to the deed were Wm. Martin Doctor of Physick of McMelick in Queens County, Richard Horseman Yeoman of Birr in Queens County, and Michael Argent Gent. of Dublin. The deed was proven on 10 Jun 1751 at 6pm by Richard Horseman.

On 20 Aug 1752 in Ireland, a memorial of an indented deed was recorded between Col. Robert Fraser, Governor of Kinsale, and "Thomas Thompson the Elder of Banagher in the King's County Farmer all that and those one plot of ground in the town of Banagher containing half an acre and ten acres more part of the lands of Kilbeg adjoining said plot Irish plantation measure be the same more or less together with the dwelling house the said Thompson then lived in situated in Banagher aforesaid with liberty for him and his undertenants to cut turf on the bog of Esker." The lease began on 1 May 1752 and lasted the duration of the lives of three individuals: David and Michael Thompson, youngest sons of the said Thomas Thompson, and Christopher Costello, the second son of Stephen Costello. They were to pay "1 pound 3 shillings and 4 pence for renewals in the fall of each life at the yearly rent of 4 pounds 13 shillings and 6 pence payable half yearly above taxes." The witnesses to the deed were Robert Muluck Gent. of Banagher, Wiliam Hall Gent. of Dublin, and Thomas Thompson. The deed was proven on 22 Aug 1752 at 5pm by Robert Mulock.

On 12 Nov 1765 in Ireland, a memorial of an indented deed of lease was recorded between Richd. Eyre Esqr. of Eyrecourt and Stephen Costello farmer of Clonfert in County Galway, with the original deed dated 11 Nov 1765. The lease was for 262 acres "all that and those the Town and Lands of Lakillillcanny now in the possession of Hopes Tennants the Course Park in the possession of Richd. Clinton and the woodland now in the possession of the said Costello, all the said lands now bear the name Cloonaskrea; viz. Lakillicanny 71 acres 7 rods and 12 perches at 9 shillings 6 pence per acre, the mill dams mines minerals coals quarries timber trees woods underwoods waifs estrays fellows and fugitives goods deadand? and all other royalties franchises priviledges and immunities." The duration of the lease was for the natural lives, or oldest living, of John Bloomfield, Luke Usher Senr. and Richd. Eyre. The yearly rent was 123 pounds 8 shillings 5 pence by two equal payments on May 1st and November 1st. The witnesses to the deed were Charles Jackson and John Rowker Gent. of Galway County. The deed was proven on 21 Oct 1766 by Charles Jackson.

On 25 Nov 1766 in Ireland, a memorial of articles of agreement were recorded between Moses Coates Gent. Tanner of Eyrecourt in County Galway and Stephen Costoly Gent. Farmer of Clonfert in County Galway, and Ann Costaly daughter of said Stephen of the third part. The articles of agreement recited a marriage proposal including a dower: if Ann were to become a childless widow, she would receive 400 pounds from Moses Coates' freehold & personal estates; if Ann were to become a widow with one child, she would receive 300 pounds and lay claim to a 1/3 of all estates. The deed was witnessed by John Sharp Farmer of Springfield Kings County, Lawrence Costilloe Farmer of Clonfert in County Galway, Jos[ep]h. Costillo Farmer of Clonfert in County Galway, and Robt. Green of Greenhills. The agreement was proven on 1 Jul 1767 by Lawrence Costillo.

On 18 Dec 1766 in Ireland, a memorial of an indented deed of lease was recorded between Col. John Eyre of Eyrecourt and Stephen Costello farmer of Clonfert in County Galway. The lease was for "the farm of Caltragh arable & pasture" consisting of 156 acres of land, described as lying "above the Decoy & Decoymans Holding situtate lying & being in the Barony of Longford & County of Galway." The duration of the lease was for the natural lives of the said Stephen Costello, Laurence Costello, and Joseph Costello "his third & youngest son." The yearly rent due was 5 shillings "for every acre during the first life that shall happen to decease and the sum of 5 shillings & 6 pence per every such acre during the other two lives, together with 6 pence __ pound received sallary payable moietively on every 1st day of May and 1st day of November over & above all taxes." The witnesses to the deed were Chas. Jackson, Moses Coates of Eyrecourt in County Galway, and David Leech of Clonfert in County Galway. The deed was proven on 4 Aug 1768 by Moses Coates, described as being "aged 25 years & upward."

Ann Costillo alias Sharp Wife of Stephen Costillo died on 5 May 1773 and was buried in the Clonfert Graveyard.
"Heaer lyieth the body of Laurence Costillo who departed this life January 1732 aged 57 years and also his Wife Mary Costillo alias Thomson who departed this life March 28th 1725 aged 38 years and also Ann Costillo alias Sharp Wife of Stephen Costillo who departed this life May the 5th 1773 aged 47 years.
O Lord have mercy on the Soul of Martin Costolo who depd this life March 1773 aged 50 yrs Cathr Costolo March ye 19th 1822 aged 60 yrs. Erd by her Husbd John Costolo."

He bequeathed to his wife Margaret Watters, as well as his three children Lawrence (1st son), Christopher (2nd son), and Joseph (3rd son). The witnesses to the will were Martin Costello of "Coltragh" and William Costello of "Mentin?".
