Joseph Garrison sold 621 acres of land in Jefferson County, Tennessee in all, however, the land grant was only for 600 acres. Where did this additional 21 acres come from? The grantor-grantee indexes for Jefferson County only show these four deeds for ANY Garrisons, apart from Joseph Garrison's 600 acre grant being registered (Book A, Page 24).
12 Dec 1793 - Book A, Page 348 - 280 acres to Anthony Col(d)well
12 Dec 1793 - Book C, Page 55 - 110 acres to Thomas Coppoch
20 Dec 1793 - Book C, Page 70 - 120 acres to Duke Cimbrow [Kimbrough]
24 Jan 1797 - Book D, Page 13 - 111 acres to Early Albertson
There is also an inconsistency in the grant number - 230 vs. 232.
